We have now set up a South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire wide service to help, support and empower Professional Referrers within Barnsley and other surrounding areas of Yorkshire. We also expect further enquiries for help and support within North Yorkshire and East Yorkshire.
We receive a lot of referrals from the following professionals:
Personal Injury Solicitors
Re: car accidents, work accidents, service provider accidents, child abuse or assault, adult abuse or assault, anxiety, panic, stress, anger, agoraphobia, depression, PTSD - post-traumatic stress disorder, plus all the mental health, psychological & behavioural challenges listed in the School section below plus many more.
Consultant Psychologists and Consultant Psychiatrists
Re: patients who have become stuck re their: present medication or therapy, e.g. CBT - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychotherapy, Counselling, Art Therapy, plus all the mental health, psychological and behavioural challenges listed below plus many more.
Schools, Colleges, Universities, via Heads, Teachers, Learning Support Officers, Counsellors
Re children & teenagers who may present with: challenging behaviours, self-harm, bullying (victim) bullying (abuser), low confidence and/or self-esteem, anxiety, separation anxiety, panic, stress, anger, agoraphobia, fears or phobias, internet addiction, drug addiction, alcohol addiction, other addictive behaviour, communication & family harmony, bed-wetting, low concentration & memory, low energy & motivation, exam or test anxiety, reactive depression, periodic cyclic depression, OCD - obsessive compulsive disorder re: intrusive thoughts, words or actions, BDD - body dysmorphic disorder, borderline personality disorder, parental relationship separation, parental bereavement, grandparent bereavement, parental illness, grandparent illness, autism, aspersers, ADD - attention deficit disorder, plus many more mental health, psychological or behavioural challenges.

Re clients who have become stuck in their: anxiety, panic, low confidence & fear re: driving practice & driving tests.

Re clients who have become stuck re their present medication or therapy, re any of the above or below mental health, psychological or behavioural challenges.
Payment Method, plus Qualification & Accreditation Level
We now only deliver Private Practice Therapy, so we no longer accept direct payments from Referrers. The client needs to pay in cash at the end of each session. Each session we then give a combined Invoice/Receipt which the client may use to claim back from most: Private Health Insurance Providers, Solicitors. However it is up each client to check what their cover and specific criteria are via their Referrer. Jeana Hallas (Senior Psychotherapist & Hypnotherapist) is accredited by CNHC, (which is one of the Approved Registers, linked to the UK government's, 'PSA - Professional Standards Authority for Health & Social Care'). Jeana is also a 'Senior Accredited Member of the NCP - National Council of Psychotherapists'). In addition to BSc (Hons) in Psychology & Counselling then Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapy, she was trained for 12 years within the NHS, Military, plus Substance Abuse Services. She then worked within Universities & GP Surgeries, then Private practice (inc. Harley Street London), as a Senior Psychotherapist & CBT Therapist - Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. Since January 2006 she has also developed up to Advanced Levels with Clinical Hypnotherapy & NLP - Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
